FirstPass Memo

Privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026. Applies to firstpassmemo.com, the FirstPass browser extension, the listing-check API (/api/check), the MCP server (/mcp) and the "Listing Red-Flag Checker" Custom GPT.

Browser extension

The FirstPass extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any user data. It runs only on Flippa, Empire Flippers and Acquire.com listing pages you open, reads that page in your browser to compute payback, asking multiple and red flags, and makes no network requests. It uses no cookies, analytics or remote code.

Listing-check API, MCP server and Custom GPT

Text and numbers sent to /api/check or /mcp (including by the Custom GPT or another AI assistant) are processed in memory to return a result and are not stored or logged by us. We receive no account, name or email from these calls. OpenAI or the assistant you use handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.

Website

The red-flag checker runs in your browser and never sends the listing text you paste. We collect only what you submit in a form: your email, the listing link and any criteria or answers you give, plus the page the form was sent from. Form submissions are stored in our own database on Cloudflare; IP addresses are not stored. We keep daily aggregate page-view counts (date, page, referring site, country) with no cookies or personal identifiers. The site sets no cookies and uses no ads, trackers or third-party analytics.

Use and sharing

We use what you submit only to deliver what you asked for (memos, the beta, the waitlist, listing alerts). We do not sell or share your details. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests on our behalf.
