What buyers usually miss on Flippa
- Seller-typed figures. Listings without a Data Verified or Vetted badge show numbers the seller entered. Treat them as claims until you see the source. See whether Flippa verification is worth it and how to verify Flippa revenue.
- Escrow and bid holds. Buyers pay Flippa escrow fees; bidding needs a small card hold, and larger bids need a higher authorisation. Factor those into all-in cost before you chase a deal.
- Wide quality range. Flippa lists every size. Screening for payback, concentration and short history matters more here than on curated marketplaces. Start with the 33 red-flag rules.
- Recent months vs the average. A strong 12-month figure with a weak last month is common. Ask for monthly P&L before you message at length.
- Fees on the seller side. Flippa charges sellers a success fee from about 5%. That does not make a listing wrong; it does mean the platform is paid when a deal closes.

Does the Flippa listing checker send my listing text anywhere?
No. The check runs in your browser. The embed's security policy stops network requests from the checker script, so pasted listing text never leaves your device. Optional email unlocks only send your email and flag codes, never the listing text.
Can I use this Flippa listing checker on any Flippa category?
Yes. Paste content, SaaS, ecommerce, Amazon, apps or other Flippa listing text. The same 33 rules score what is present; missing fields simply do not fire those rules.
Is this Flippa listing checker the same as a paid FirstPass memo?
