Red-flag bounty

Red-flag bounty: find a flag the checker missed, get a free memo

Short answer: if you find a red flag on a real listing that our checker did not raise, tell us. If it holds up, you get a free first-pass memo on any listing and, if you want, credit under your handle on the rule page.

Updated 25 October 2026 · By Joan Murphy (pen name) · How we check · Corrections

Free: the 37 red flags buyers miss, emailed to you, each with the question to send the seller, plus the 72-hour vetting plan and deal tracker.

One email with your links (they also open on the next page). No newsletter.

How it works

  1. Run a public listing through the checker.
  2. Spot something a careful buyer should ask about that the checker missed, or a rule that fires when it should not.
  3. Send it below: the listing link and the flag in a sentence or two.
  4. We read every submission. If it is a real gap, we fix or add the rule, email you a free memo code, and (only if you tick the box) show your handle as "Suggested by" on that rule's page.

One memo per accepted flag. The first person to report a given gap gets the credit. We decide what counts, and we explain why when we say no. No cash prizes.
