Red flag explained · Verification, age and operations

Described as fully automated or running itself

Short answer: "Fully automated" usually means the work is done by tools and scripts the seller set up. Those tools cost money, break, change their terms and may not transfer, and someone still has to watch them. The claim is common and not wrong in itself; ask which tools run the site, what they cost and who fixes them.

When the checker raises it

Raised as medium severity when the listing text says the business is fully or 100% automated, runs itself, runs on its own or on autopilot, or needs zero or no work.

Why it matters

An automated site moves the work from writing to maintenance. If the tool costs are not in the P&L, the profit figure is too high.

Automation built on one person's accounts and API keys may not move cleanly to a new owner.

The same example also raises: Organic search is about 70% of traffic, No connected data source mentioned, Concentration not disclosed.
